CCBill payments
I needed to change the payment method recently as my bank in the UK (Barclays) no longer processes foreign checks. So I filled in the form and got an email asking for various compliance documents, a photo of driving licence etc, and also that wire payments are not available to affiliates but I could have payments by SEPA.
So I sent off the docs and said yes, please set payment method to SEPA. Got an email back saying docs were accepted and that had been done. Then a day later they change their minds and tell me that SEPA payments are not available to affiliates, I can have payment by ACH or check. Which clearly I can't because ACH is for US banks and I can't accept checks any more which is the cause of the whole process in the first place. Now I am obviously not the only CCBill affiliate outside the US that wants to receive payouts by electronic means, so how is everyone else getting paid by CCBill? I thought people were getting paid by wire? What the hell is going on here? |

Does this actually mean that all non-US CCBill affiliates are being paid by check?

I'm in the EU, I get paid by SEPA but I don't promote any CCbill sites currently, just still have some links on a few old sites so make a sale here and there, I get maybe 2-3 payments/year.

I put my foreign checks into Lloyds. I was (and still am) with Barclays, but when Barclays announced the local branch was closing a few years ago, I opened an account with Lloyds, as they were the only bank in town.
However, they are also closing, so I'll have to travel 7 miles to make deposits in the future, but the takeaway is that Lloyds still take foreign checks.. At least at the moment anyway... :thumbsup |

If you also have a webmaster account with CCBILL they can merge your accounts so you would get one wire payment which is primary for your webmaster account but it will have your affiliate payments added. This is the set up I used to have but I prefer two separate payments for quite a few reasons. It is baffling that CCBILL can wire you payments for your webmaster account but not your affiliate account. |

I don't know why CCBill is addamant on ruining their business model. They were the authority on affiliate programs and affiliate payouts. Since they went to the dark side (the communist block side), they've been trying harder and harder to fuck everything up.

Is it possible that the support agent didn't know that UK is still part of SEPA?
SEPA is an EU payment option, however UK didn't quit SEPA after Brexit, it is still in the SEPA system. Maybe you could try to get them to double check this with their team. |

Yes. they will send you a physical check. |
It is not uncommon you to find many threads here related to ccbill and their garbage system
It's 2024, but they still want to pay non-US webmasters via check I think at some point if I dig further I will find the Flintstones in their outdated admin |
I seem to recall CCBill EU being able to send out wires. Perhaps you should ask CCBill about this as it is a seperate company somehow still connected to CCBill.
Or, open a Webmaster account and merge payments that way? |

Terminology is important.
Wire = SWIFT Wire = International Wire -> CCBILL doesn't send them anymore anywhere I think ACH -> USA only SEPA = "EU Wire" -> CCBILL still supports it, but this works only for bank accounts in the European Union. Also, it has to be sent in EUR currency. There are a few extra European countries which also support it: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Andorra, Switzerland. (These countries are not part of the EU but part of SEPA.) But UK is an exception. It was in SEPA because of the EU, but they still remained in the SEPA even after Brexit. So a SEPA transfer (EUR currency) to a UK bank account would work. Maybe your customer service rep or CCBILL didn't realize this. They didn't update their FAQ either, they don't list UK in the SEPA list: https://ccbill.com/doc/affiliate-faqs & https://ccbill.com/doc/merchant-accounting-faqs |

if you get stuck, open a USD account on Wise.
They're not strictly adult-friendly, but I've been using them for odd occasions for a few years now. Soon as the USD hits your account, couple of button presses on the app and the the amount is wired to your UK bank account. Nice and easy. |

is sepa still an option for the UK? |
Barclays can do SEPA https://www.barclays.co.uk/help/inte...receive-money/ and I've sent this link to CCBill, they knew that the bank can do it but for some reason are telling me it's not available to affiliates at this time.

Same shit. CCBill puts my payments on "Indefinite hold" (used SEPA). "The only available payout options we can offer for our affiliates are ACH and Mailed Checks" told they.
