I was a shitty rapper who only made $3000

But I spent $30,000 to make that much.
I tried rapping because I couldn't sing.
When I look at the news today, I'm so glad that

I was a shitty rapper

If I had "made it", then maybe I'd being going down the toilet drain too.

Damn, this shit is getting real, and getting deep.
I don't see anyway for P-Diddy to survive this one.

:2 cents:

Disclaimer : STFU CurrentlySober about how a shitty rapper would appeal to you.

Well, you are assuming a lot thinking you would 'make it' to the level of Puff Daddy Diddly Diddler (whatever he is calling himself these days). But I get your point. I often think if I was a rock star in the nineties there's no way I wouldn't have OD'd on heroin or suffered some terrible fate. LOL

But hey if you still feel the urge to rap then it's easier than ever today to 'make it'. YouTube, AI, pro tools, auto tune...shit I may even give it a try! The World needs another Vanilla Ice (ice) baby!!

(Verse 1)
Yo, listen up, 'bout a rapper named Black Monster,
Spent all his cash, but his fame's a non-starter.
Three G's in his pocket, but spent thirty stacks,
Chasing dreams of glory, but his rhymes were wack.

Couldn't sing a tune, so he grabbed the mic,
But his bars were so weak, they caused a plight.
Studio sessions, burning through dough,
But his tracks were trash, had no flow to show.

Yo mamma said, "Boy, you're wastin' your time,
Chasing that dream, ain't nothin' but a crime."
But Monster just laughed, said, "Ma, you don't know,
When I hit the stage, they gonna feel my flow."

(Chorus)
Black Monster, a sorry rapper with just three G's,
Spent thirty grand, chasing rap fantasies.
No singing skills, so he grabbed the mic,
Now he sees the truth, it's a sorry sight.

(Verse 2)
Flippin' through channels, saw Puff Daddy's fame,
Living lavish, in a whole different game.
Diamonds on his neck, and his cars so fly,
Monster thought, "Coulda been me if I could just fly."

But reality hit, like a punch to the gut,
His rhymes were weak, just a sorry rut.
Sittin' in his room, writing rhymes all day,
But they were just trash, couldn't make 'em sway.

Yo mamma warned him, said, "Boy, open your eyes,
You're just a wanna-be, spittin' out lies."
But Monster shrugged, said, "Ma, you'll see,
I'm gonna make it big, just wait and see."

(Chorus)
Black Monster, a sorry rapper with just three G's,
Spent thirty grand, chasing rap fantasies.
No singing skills, so he grabbed the mic,
Now he sees the truth, it's a sorry sight.

(Bridge)
Now Monster's just a lesson, learned the hard way,
Chasing dreams with no skill, it's just child's play.
If you got dreams, better make sure they true,
'Cause endin' up like Monster, ain't what you wanna do.

(Outro)
Yo mamma warned him, but he didn't heed the call,
Now he's just a broke rapper, took a big fall.
So remember Monster's story, when you feel the urge,
To chase dreams with no skill, better splurge.

Based on my actual gift wrapping skills; your assessment is rather accurate.
