AVN, Internext, X3 Expo 2025 (any tips pls)

I have a plan for 2025 to go to the USA for 1st time and attend those adult expos. I want any tips for the trip and stay there.

I am from Greece have in mind, so I want tips for a flight the economy ways, and for staying at LV.

Thanks, people for your ideas and tips!!!

pornlaw 05-09-2024 12:22 PM

If you're going to AVN then there's really no reason to go to X3. Its just smaller... and it increases your costs to travel to LA.

AVN and Internext are both in Vegas.

CurrentlySober 05-09-2024 12:35 PM

My Tip? Save on expensive hotel room costs by simply bedding down overnight in one of the stalls in the toilets. If you get the disabled stall, it will be the size of a small hotel room, and nobody will bother you :thumbsup

Build a time machine and go back to 2006-ish.

- Stay in a cheap apartment/hotel nearby
- Take the Uber to wallmart and buy water and some grocery
- Brunch at Denny's
- Nicest is rent a car and drive to LA with some stopovers
- Avoid woman at the bar that are not from the show (don't follow your cock).
- Find woman affiliate manager with business credit card
- Use skyscanner.com and search with flexible dates for best flights
- Last time i used booking.com and airbnb
- Buy your new wardrobe in the Premium Outlet Las Vegas North and save money
- Look out for a greek guy with free drink-tickets

TheLegacy 05-10-2024 06:00 PM

Try to get there a day early to avoid jet lag
don't over party - pace yourself
drink lots of water to keep your voice
set up appointments before hand so you don't waste your trip
always write on the back of business cards points to remind you who you talked to
try not to waste your business cards
do NOT do business at the loud parties - no one hears you - step outside
female reps are NOT escorts nor playtoys
watch your drinking - you do anything stupid you'll always be remembered for it
try to shadow a veteran if you can
stay near the bar - you'll do a great deal of business there
Never eat alone - every chance make an opportunity

trevesty 05-11-2024 04:11 AM

If you love convenience like me, stay at the show hotel. If you care more about pinching pennies, stay off site and Uber / walk to show hotel. Vegas is pretty easy to get around.

Thanks for your response. I think that after a big trip there, is an opportunity to see as much as I can, that's why thought of X3!

lol... Hotels there are not as expensive as I saw on some platforms, trust me here in Greece summer hotels are more expensive than LV. Also, Airbnb is a good idea, I don't know how huge Las Vegas is and if I stay on Airbnb the costs for transport I don't know how much are.

Thanks for your advice. Transportation there is cheap or expensive?

Here in Greece for the minimum way u pay about 5 euros for a taxi (5.38$)

Brad Mitchell 05-11-2024 06:36 AM

Transportation is expensive

Arrive early for jet lag and do sight seeing. So much to do in Vegas!

I'm not sure if Tasty1 forgot but normally Taxi drivers accept cash only unless you ask specifically for a credit card or debit driver. they are around but will ONLY accept USD and make sure to mark your path since they can spot newbies and make take you on back roads etc. you don't need only to drive up the price.

Also to note - there are hotels you can stay in that do offer buses to and from airports but you need to inform them in advance of your arrive and details so you can avoid that price.

Keep in mind also don't go to cheap on smaller hotels - you pay for what you get and should you get caught up at a party or drink a bit - it's not as easy to get back to your hotel. Finally - if you're getting a motel etc. near the event that's fine - but any further then take into account taxi fares vs. cost of room - you actually may break even just staying at the hotel depending on how many times you need to go back to your room.

Don't have ideas for the hotel yet.
They also don't give good prices for now, cheaper prices last year.
I stayed 2 weeks in Vegas so i could also visit Affiliate Summit West also.
Stayed 1 week in front of Virgin, Wyndham, Uber to the strip about 13 USD, walking 20 minutes.
In the end you don't want to walk too much, everything is a big walk in Las Vegas.
Uber to Downtown will be about 20 USD. Uber has good prices, also from the airport.
I didn't pay for Uber cash, will be from your creditcard.

Now AVN will take over Virgin, would always be best to stay in Virgin.
Making appointments is for sure needed, it is really busy.
You hardly leave the hotel during the shows.
I would stay 1 week longer and visit The Sphere, and maybe a show or concert.
Also a visit to Grand Canyon is nice.

If you are going the cheap way, an affiliate manager with a credit card can buy drinks for you ;)
But nothing is cheap and going the cheap way isn't always the best way.

For me it always pays out in more profit, ideas, great party's, great memories, connections, staying updated with trends and friends.

Depends... if you want to go anywhere in LA other than the show you will need a car.

So if you are going to rent a car anyway, I would rent in LA and drive to Vegas and back.

Ubers are really expensive in LA.

Its a 4-5 hour drive. And you will get to see the largest thermometer in the world along the way. I would recommend stopping in Barstow for lunch... its the halfway point between Vegas and LA.

Tasty1 05-11-2024 12:58 PM

LA is indeed expensive with Uber, trip to the beach 100 usd. And it isn't that nice. I would tour to Santa Barbara etcetra than stay in LA. But i went for 1 month when i made the long tourist tour. Don't know how long you want to go. For 2 weeks i would stay in vegas and see Grand Canyon and other Sports around Vegas with a rental car and take a motel on the roadtrip.

I must go back to USA for some more months. Need a lot of months to see it all.

djroof 05-11-2024 01:19 PM

Guys, thanks a lot for your tips and advice !!! I wrote all and keep this thread to get back for an update!

First of all I want come to USA because I love this country, all here in Greece know me for this love and told me that I must birth there and not here hahaha.

I want to come as a fan, I have my site Juicy Devils and do it here in Greece biz. I am a webmaster since 2003 my first forums were Porno Junkies, Medium Pimpin, Adult City, here GFY, and a few others, I think I will not find old friends who talked a lot during those years.

I want to have fun, experience, and see new things in the adult biz take some ideas, etc.

So I will take also a girl with me who is old best friend.

Thanks for your help, if u have any update post here, I will come back maybe with new questions etc.

Again thanks thanks and thanks GFY people !!!!

I have the idea that Hotels on Las Vegas are "cheap" because they know that will take the $$$ from casinos.

Cheap was it when i stayed in Caesars Palace for 50 euro a night. 15 years ago.
Circus Circus is cheap, but too far away.

And look for the Resort Fees. You think it is cheap, and than they come up with Resort Fees.

You better come as an affiliate than as fan. Real affiliates can ask for free tickets.

Thanks a lot for your continued tips! Circus Circus I saw on Travala and yes it was cheap about 75$/day, but now u told me that is far away hmmmm...

Resort fees? What is that? And what fees I can see on any platforms like Booking? or when I will arrive at the hotel?

I am an affiliate (Chaturbate white labels I run), so I will come as an affiliate, and when u tell me about free tickets? which tickets u mean?

Thanks!

You missed one of the most important advice :winkwink:

Only do an " air cheek" kissing, and NEVER kiss on the lips when greeting. Beside being charged with an assault ( like the Spanish soccer coach) by day 3 you likely will spout a brand new cold sore....:2 cents:

fuzebox 05-12-2024 12:53 PM

Internext is scheduled at the same time as SHOT Show and World Concrete Expo so hotel prices are going to be expensive that week :2 cents:

djroof 05-12-2024 02:06 PM

Can anyone tell a budget for

1) Hotel/accommodation
2) Transportation
3) Food
4) Expo Tickets, drinks etc

Thanks!

Well guess I never thought about it since I don't kiss anyone but my wife and if i am also meeting someone for the first time - why would I even think about doing that?? Never crossed my mind - I believe I have more class than that. The most someone will get from me is someone who've I've known for a while and that could mean a hug but I only do that as said with someone I know personally

If there are those out there who randomly kiss someone then that is rare to me since I do recall ever seeing that in all my years from those I hang with.

Tasty1 05-12-2024 05:02 PM

As dutchman we give 3 kisses.

1) i spent around 100 usd per night, first 12 days in a big apartment (without resort fee) than circus circus cause event was next door this year. Polo Towers was always nice in the action for good price (now mostly taken over by Hilton).

2) 50 - 100 usd UBER, i think return flight Athens 950 euro
Book the flight at the airline directly to Las Vegas, preferable at 1 company.
Many problems last years with connecting flights.
Had to buy new tickets once when the first flight had delays.

3) Food 30 - 60 - 500 usd per day, depending if you eat Pizza slices, normal meals or high class. I had a good Italian buffet for 30 usd. Pornlaw would rate it 2 stars ;)

4) Free for affiliates - cheap for early birds fans.

And now the worse, a small bottle of modelo beer cost 13 USD in a hotel bar, without tip!
The Greek way, go to a liquir shop, stuff your fridge full of alcohol and invite everyone for a suite party!

RyuLion 05-12-2024 05:21 PM

If you do come, let me know, we'll invite you to a hosted dinner. I'm sure Tasty enjoyed it last time! :)

I never knew that about Dutch people - so when at a trade show do you normally then greet people with 3 kisses whether you know them or not? Just curious - no offense

Dutch is 3 kisses on the cheeck, in the air.
But on shows a handshake or 1 kiss if you know eachother.

I was already looking for room, but didn't see anything interesting yet.
In Wyndham the prices doubled for now.
And i must see where i am, probably in Thailand.

A beer in Greece sounds good. I even might go there.
Looking what to visit now in Europe.

Do what I did and go to Vegas with a rich program owner. He kept handing me money and I said no thanks twice. I went to Vegas with $10 cash and no card, and left with a few thousand. Fun times..
Stayed at the MGM in a deluxe suite, too, I liked it.

Since you're coming here from far, just go to both to experience the "Show Block". LA to Vegas is a 3.5 hour drive or 45 min flight and if you book early, like on Southwest is $75 or less.

I highly suggest staying at the show hotel for convenience, especially if you have meetings during the show....unless you want to rack up $ Ubering all over and not having access to your stuff, plus taking a shit in your own room is an added perk.

jsmih 05-19-2024 07:38 PM

To answer an earlier question "resort fees" are an extra daily fee the hotel adds on. They usually claim it covers stuff like internet, pool facilities, etc. Since they typically won't waive it, it's really just a way to tack an extra $30-50 per night onto the advertised room rate. Some hotels charge another $20-40 for parking. So an advertised $100 a night room could end up costing $200 a night after room rate, resort fee, parking, and taxes. It should all be disclosed but you may not see it until the very end of the online booking process, so check that last screen carefully!
