How often do you change your desktop background pic?
 

I thought about how often I change my background picture and came to the conclusion that every four to six months I tend to update it with something new as it gets boring.

How often do you guys change?

Once I love one, I can keep it several years. . .

every 5 minutes. i scraped a popular wallpaper site with over 5000 retina backgrounds. it cycles through them every 5 mins and sets 1 at random.

I didn't scrape a wallpaper site though - I use certain pics that I have been taking each morning for a few years instead... :2 cents:

every 6-12 months

Been about 25 years of a straight up black background. The icons look better against black.

I think it's been 10-15 years.

It's always a babe pointing a gun. Nothing hotter. Had the same one for 2 years.

Since moving to Windows 11 I use the default Glow theme which changes the background every 15 minutes and automatic accent colors. This and dark mode look great.

Same - had mine for over 10 years.

after installed wallpaper engine from steam, once every week

i simply choose one on which icons are most visible, and didn't change it for years.

Mine is whatever came set as default, I never just sit there and stare at my desktop.

When I need change, but usually when it’s winter i’ll put summer. I haven’t changed it in years, however.

Very rarely, and I have only a handful I use.

I have a 49 inch monitor and finding good wallpaper for it is difficult...

Eye never do. Same on socials with avatars.

never. Only blue color background because everything else seems like a distraction.

Sure, there are some cool ones but one of my monitors is vertical so I can't align it with the other two.

My desktop background has been changing every couple days. Not sure why but it's kinda cool.

I keep mine solid black. Forever.

I honestly never change mine. I have the default one that comes with Windows 11 and didn't even think about changing it. Not sure why I never thought about it. Just never crossed my mind. ��
