Why is GFY so slow to load these days? Time to call your hosting provider and tell them to up their game...

Been like that for weeks.

Almost no activity here now because of this.

They are working on it! Hope gets better soon.

Seriously. Where is this thing hosted at? Hostgator?

Seems to be the slowest when viewing the main forum, possibly slow queries due to the amounts of data accumulated?

Quarter century of not a damn thing pruned and them codes gotta be hacked to death from legacy add-ons and obsolete customizations.

This could be one of them situations where the more you try to fix it, the more it'll break 🤣

Seems to be super snappy today.

Personally I'd rather it be slow then not online at all as many other webmaster boards have gone in the past

Seems like every other click I get the maintenance screen, and then i have to reload that three or four times.

And when i do manage to make a post, I get the SSL warning when the screen refreshes and then the fuckin maintenance screen again.

Got other things to do all weekend, I'll check back monday maybe it'll be better.
