clip sites question
 

I have 2 seperate clip store/brands. One of them is a mix of old SD clips mixed with some HD stuff. My other store/brand is all stuff shot with in the last few years and most of its shot in 4K. I would think the newer 4k stuff would sell better but I find my brand that has older content from 20 years ago sells much better. I was wondering is the newer stuff is not selling because its 4K? Someone was telling me user prefer HD becauuse it loads faster and fits most hand held devices which is what most user use to watch. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this? Should I convert all my 4k scenes to HD?

i see the same pattern across all 4 platforms.

on c4s you can upload the same clip in two diff formats. maybe try releasing each new clip in both HD and 4K? just slightly rename the title, but you can copy/paste the description so not much extra work

added bonus you can put each clip format in a separate category, so twice the exposure (as the long as each category fits the content obvs)

Any video with 4K is really best shown on big screen tvs etc. For most laptops and smart phones (some computer monitors too) HD works better because it loads faster and plays smoother. Besides, most free porn on tubes are not in 4K so that's what many people are used to.

1920x1080 is good enough for most people. :)

You won't see any difference between FullHD and 4K video played on a 4K TV because you watch it from a distance of 2-3 meters + modern TVs enhance the picture quality anyway, so even old footage looks good on them. I still have a DVD player and even with some old school DVDs played on our 4K TV I barely see a quality difference compared to 4K films. It's terribly overrated.

thats a great idea but that would take time and Imm still trying to process 100's of other scenes to be added. Maybe in the coming weeks I will do a sample testing.
