Ricci Levy of Woodhull Freedom Foundation is this Week’s Guest on Adult Site Broker Talk.

Ricci has been engaged in sexual freedom activism for several decades.
In 2003, she helped found the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, a nonpartisan, nonprofit human rights organization dedicated to defending the personal autonomy of all individuals.

As the Executive Director, then President and CEO, Ricci has led Woodhull for more than twenty years.

Ricci has testified and spoken at conferences across the country, often addressing challenging themes in a way that encourages collaborative dialogue to establish bridges and alliances.

Ricci leads human rights discussions on censorship, sex work decriminalization, the shackling of incarcerated women in labor, and family and reproductive justice.

Since its founding, the Foundation has championed sexual freedom as a human right alongside freedom of expression, family, and privacy.

Woodhull works with allies representing specific issues, identities, and communities to advocate for sexual rights, whether talking to students about all consenting families or convincing Congress to ban condoms as evidence of prostitution.

The Woodhull Freedom Foundation fights laws, policies, and practices that limit or harm our sexual freedom. Woodhull helped include domestic partner benefits in same-sex marriage, which was at risk in the original law.

They testified and lobbied for human rights efforts to end Florida prisons' shackling of women during labor and childbirth and helped end Washington DC's "Prostitution Free Zones," which violated legally defensible rights.

Woodhull successfully lobbied to amend minors' sexting rules.

The Woodhull Freedom Foundation is the leading voice on sexual rights and human rights, advocating for the US to protect human rights, including sexual freedom, rather than limit them.

Woodhull brought the lone Federal challenge to the devastating unlawful FOSTA/SESTA law in the Woodhull Freedom Foundation v. the United States.
