The good news is only 1:10 die. But you definitely need to be quarantined... I am calling the relevevant authorities NOW! |
It usually takes lengthy contact with someone with active TB before a person can become infected. On average, people have a 50 percent chance of becoming infected with M. tuberculosis if they spend eight hours a day for six months or 24 hours a day for two months working or living with someone with active TB. However, people with TB who have been treated with appropriate drugs for at least two weeks are no longer contagious and do not spread the germ to others.

I havnet seen my mom is about 6 years..during the time she has contracted the HIV virus..all of a sudden she shows up here. My grandma told me she had it..she didnt really want me to know in the first place,in fact,my grandma been knew about it but didnt want to upset me
she just stopped by before she went to her doctors appointment..she told me the hospital will put out an APB on her if she didnt show up cause she is considered a danger to society.she has active TB ( i just found that out) so I had to rinse my hands and face in alcohol.. couldnt even hug my own mother the way I wanted to |

TB was one of the worlds great plagues, it's pretty much done now in the civilized world..
The one to be scared of though is the drug-resistant strains.. Ick. Sorry to hear about your mom dude. We can only hope that someday soon they kick its (HIV/AIDs) ass. |
