I bailed a guy out of that jail and all he could talk about was how he's never going to eat bologna again in his life.

Which the popular opinion on this matter?? I may jump on it . . .

The truth is that the accuse failed to prove he was guilty of conspiracy to commit pandering.

Therefore he was jailed mostly because of charge of perjury, which is very far away from the initial accuse.

That's why he was in prison for such a short time.

Whether or not we think he's guilty or innocent is irrelevant. He took the plea deal, pleading guilty to the two charges, making him a convicted felon.

Should he have fought the charges? Perhaps, but in the end, he chose not to. He chose to admit guilt and take the sentence given to him.

Due to the American law system, 99.9% of times is better and cheaper to admit a false guilt than to fight for your rights.

It is what it is, moreover in theese horrible mee-too wich hunting times...

There are a lot of words to describe Derek. In my opinion, innocent isnt one of them.

I don't think the argument was about the nature of the crimes, it was more about receiving 9 months regardless and only serving 3 weeks.

I bet my life that Derek is more honorable than the average fleabag corrupt judge.
