Currently upgrading from Sonoma to Sequoia...

Wish me luck!

Or, worry me to death by telling me about issues I'm not aware of!!!

The choice is yours! :winkwink:

One year I did the recently updated version and after words none of my audio drivers worked for 6 months because it took time for all of the companies to catch up. I was into music production at the time.

Haven't done it since!

Nightmare!

Its just finished, and I can't really say i can see much of a difference. I was hoping to try out this 'Apple intelligence' thingy - Keep running totals in my notes and rewrite stuff, but all 'baked in'...

Only to find out that its not available in the UK until December! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I think Apple is getting slightly better at, and focusing on, putting out a very stable software product... for regular users. But that's the catch: regular users in the Mac ecosystem don't use non-app store software, and they generally don't use non-Apple software if they can help it.

Myself? Uptime is very important for me, so I take my time to make sure things are very stable before I do major upgrades (excluding security updates, which need to be prioritized.)

I noticed an incredible increase in performance on my M1 16-inch 2021 MBP.

With Sequoia I have problems with Network Drives. Tried in two differents computers...

I had to buy "Automounter" to get working it..

Just checked & not on mine thankfully. It just said 'Resolving Alias' for about 10 seconds, as that was the first time I'd accessed it since the upgrade, but all normal now...
