CCbill - last month mass payment errors (WEBMASTER)
Sorry if this is the wrong forum category (please move the post to the correct one).
Last month, ccbill had an internal problem related to the inability to accept New Transactions (they were incorrectly marked with the code BE-104 and BE-105). ccbill confirmed this and apologized. CCbill claims that the problem has been solved and only affected new transactions, but as it turns out from my findings, the problem continues and what's more, in the case of a single sale user can make a purchase, while a recuperating sale user cannot (same user, same card). I am afraid that existing reccuring subscriptions were also affected because of this. Overall, I have lost over 10% of customers month to month. Have people who have bling on ccbill also noticed problems with new sales and reccuring transactions? |
I have noticed an issue since around Feb 13th. Sales and rebills have dipped so I will have to check with CCBill on this one. :(
Thanks for letting us know this important info!! |
ccbill is so 90s

Big news.

It probably doesn't help this late in the game, but this is one of the reasons why I always recommend that my clients have fallback systems in place. Having multiple gateways/processors that you can cascade through is really important when annoying things like this crop up. Generally speaking, most CMS/AMS have support for that anyway, so it's real easy to get setup.
I haven't heard any complaints about CCBill from my clients specifically but I will pass your thread along to them. Thank you for reporting it! |
Any update on if this is still happening for you alex1981? It's very hard to get reliable info out of CCBill these days it seems.

Bump for answers - has this been resolved?

Error creating username
Hello,
Does that internal problem with new transactions was connected with Error creating username ? For what were actually those error codes BE-104 and BE-105? |
