Buyer creates false claim with Paypal
So this guy buy a blog post from me, pays with Paypal and 2 weeks later he opens a claim and says i have taken the blog offline and wants his money back.
The blog is online and has never been taken down since day 1. Obviously he's trying to scam me. Not sure what to do, anyone had this issue before? |
Sometimes you just have to chalk it up to being scammed and move on, PayPal will rule in his favor, the best you can hope for is that you're account doesn't get closed for using them for adult marketing transactions...
|
That sucks. Maybe it's best never to accept payments with paypal again to avoid this crap.
|
.... but if his blog is adult, report him to PP and they'll shut his payments down , so you will win at the end. And if his blog is NOT adult then move on PP will never side with you.

dirty ass business
Nothing you can do unless you want to risk your paypal
Guaranteed he is some third world scammer, sold your blog to someone, got paid by that webmaster and then he fucks that guy and you with paypal I had similar problems, all you can do is check the links and hit the owner up and try to make some cash good luck [email protected] |
Unless you have things clearly marked down in an invoice - and can show the work PayPal won't do anything. If he's attempting to do a chargeback then you'll get into a mess.
Yes - paypal doesn't like adult so you're going to need to find a backup solution in case they block you. dont keep your money sitting there or else if they block you - the money is on hold for 3 months. I hate paypal - look after yourself first and honestly - if he's being like that - then dont worry about his paypal account only yours |

This idiot added certain screenshots from our conversations in the past (a lot of weird copy paste work ) to backup his claim where you can obviosly see it's adult related. I've hit up the guy per email and told him about this, 5 minutes later he closed the claim. Let's hope PP was sleeping these past 48 hours. |

lots of trust between both parties needed, but at least no scams can be presented afterwards, sadly this is lots more trust needed for the buyer though :upsidedow :2 cents: |

Opening a Paypal dispute doesnīt do anything, itīs just a chat between you and the buyer until you finally forward it to Paypal for review.
I assume before that final step they wonīt read it. But generally itīs not good your dispute having details showing adult related information! Very soon I also have to open a Paypal dispute, looks like. There are situations you canīt avoid it anymore. It would be my third dispute. The designer (board member here) is just not delivering the work, so what can I do, after 2-3 months waiting is no longer an option for me. I always have stupid issues like that :1orglaugh |
Welcome to doing business with PayPal.

if you see.. "you can withdraw your money" adios...
