LoginBlue Password and Content Protection

Hey everybody!

My name is Brandon, and I run Cerulean Software, a U.S. based website and application development firm. We generally specialize in custom software development for organizations in the adult entertainment industry, such as content management systems, transcoders, 1-click cancellation systems, tech consultation, and the like. However, today I wanted to introduce you all to something we've been actively developing for years: LoginBlue.

LoginBlue is a login manager designed for the adult industry by webmasters and site admins who were concerned about password sharing, unauthorized access, tracking users efficiently, and reducing customer support costs.

I'll be brief, because you can read the full marketing pitch on the website (including frequently asked questions,) but here's the main points. LoginBlue:
  • Works by implementing email-based two-factor authentication, requiring users to control the email account used at sign-up and enter in a code to gain access to your members area.
  • Integrates with pretty much any system, including WordPress, because it protects the whole domain (or folder.) If we come across a system we haven't integrated yet, we'll work with you to make it fit.
  • Reads from your CMS/AMS/CRM database and can work with both Apache and Nginx (although some custom rules may apply.)
  • Greatly reduces password sharing, and in some cases, stops it completely.
  • Detects when a user is inactive, but has successfully logged in, giving you the opportunity to retarget them with a discount.
  • Tracks user login activity, and displays it in an attractive and easy to understand format, which has been used by our clients to both decrease support costs and help fight chargebacks.
  • Supports custom themes and integrates fairly seamlessly.

If you have any questions, I'd love the opportunity to answer them and win you over. If you want to send me an email to talk about your specific implementation, you can click on the link in my signature, submit a request from the website, or send me a DM here!

Thank you for taking the time to learn about LoginBlue!

Hello again!

I’m excited to announce that we have been working diligently over the past few months to improve LoginBlue by integrating various industry-leading Know Your Customer (KYC) and Age Verification Services (AVS,) like iDenfy and VerifyMy. We're looking at Yoti as well.

While we cannot and do not provide legal advice or compliance ourselves on the topics of Know Your Customer, Age Verification, or Age Estimation, we're hoping by integrating these services with LoginBlue, our clients will have more choices when making the transition to AVS.

The way it works with LoginBlue is simple:
  1. When your users sign-in successfully to a protected area they will be prompted to perform email-based two-factor authentication.
  2. If successful, and if you’ve enabled AVS, their location will be detected and based on location-based rules, will be sent to the integrated service of your choice.
  3. The verification service will take over, and will inform LoginBlue in real-time about the status of that verification. If successful, they’ll be given access!

Both iDenfy and VerifyMy are certified for age verification, but we cannot guarantee that LoginBlue or any integration will meet your legal compliance needs. We'll work with you and your legal team to make sure LoginBlue does the best that it can to meet those needs, though. We also offer custom development services to make sure you hit all of your checkmarks.

If you're already a client, and you're interested in trying it out, or you think this solution would benefit your sites, let me know! We'd love to have you test it out and give us your feedback.

Hello everyone!

We are always interested in making LoginBlue more adaptable to the individual needs of adult webmasters. We have found that most of our clients are concerned about piracy, which is why some of them have chosen to work with Xvid AutoGraph and Xvid MediaHub to digitally fingerprint and watermark their video content.

We're excited to announce that we have successfully integrated Xvid's Extended Auth feature, which is a two-factor authentication system that leverages their Anti-Fraud detection systems. If you're familiar with MediaHub, you probably already use these features. Now, you can integrate them with LoginBlue too to get the best of both worlds!

Instead of using our two-factor authentication system, you can now deploy Xvid to handle two-factor authentication. For our existing clients, and prospective clients who are interested in these extended features, we're hoping this integration streamlines the process significantly.

Like the rest of our service, our integration of Xvid's features are completely customizable, from both a design and templating perspective. You can continue to theme your user interface exactly as you need it to be.

In the future, we plan to integrate additional features from Xvid's APIs, making it easier for you to view, at a glance, what your users are up to.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to direct them to me. Reach out and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
