I play Call Of Duty. Recently I installed a very old version of COD and played it. I cannot believe how horrible it was compared to what we playing now. The games we will be playing now will be amazing.
Everything is going to change. Hollywood is going to be destroyed. Instead of Hollywood employing thousands of people - writers, actors, stage hands, editors - we will have random people telling AI to come up with a plot, flesh out characters, and make entire movies. Instead of paying Hollywood to watch movies we will just watch random movies created by AI.
I did something similar myself using ChatGPT. I told ChatGPT that I liked a TV show called Foyle's War which is about a detective working during World War Two in England, and how it always ties into military aspects of the war. I asked ChatGPT to come up with a similar TV show with a similar plot line based in more current times. Eventually it came up with a tv show called "The Berlin Connection" about a German police detective working during the cold War and how he worked with both sides. It fleshed out the characters, the car he drove, his firearm, his girlfriend, his ex-wife, and come up with an entire season of episodes and even wrote a few for me.
It's going to destroy our industry. Eventually we will just have bots creating fake accounts on TikTok and Onlyfans and creating fake content. They won't need to create a handful accounts with millions of followers, but instead millions of accounts who have a few hundred followers.
Who ever creates this first will dominate the future of our industry. I am guessing it will be Lightspeed.
