PBN backlinks - do they work now?

Backlinks from PBN sites.

Do they really work now?
Are they safe?
Do they help in seo?

Waiting for your inputs.

1 - Depends
2 - Depends
3 - Depends

I know it might sound like a vague answer, but it really does depend

mopek1 02-18-2025 04:17 AM

Like the previous poster said, it depends.

If they are all quality, meaning real sites with real content aimed at getting real visitors then yes.

If they are made for PBN sites, with crap content and have other red flags then no.

I donīt mind any backlinks to my blog, a link to your site is a link tbh :2 cents:

fris 02-18-2025 01:13 PM

Bunch of people in buy and sell offering links are garbage escort be careful buying low quality spammy links they do more harm than good

mrmister 02-18-2025 03:22 PM

When buying links I focus on

Does the site have organic traffic? You can check in semrush

Was there any large peaks and huge drops which means some penalisation?

If the price is right I usually buy

CrystalPalace 02-18-2025 04:34 PM

They work good if the content on the website is not garbage

TheLegacy 02-18-2025 05:31 PM

Please do your research on the links an the company.
Make sure the backlinks have something in common with your site(s) and also check if they are toxic.

How do you know if they are toxic?

thezio 02-20-2025 10:11 AM

@everyone. Thanks for your inputs.

I see some people selling PBN links here and many gfyers have bought linkspots from those sellers.

Would like to know how those bought links have affected their sites.

Nobody answered your question lol

I will tell you honestly - don't waste your money on PBN links. Yes, it can get results for a short term period, but eventually your site will get penalty, even if you point those PBNs to web 2.0 and web 2.0 to your main site.

If that was true then point them to your competitors site :pimp:1orglaugh

WiredGuy 02-21-2025 01:01 PM

I wouldn't buy links from a PBN, but I would build my own PBN.

Maybe PBN links are good for short term sites or for the ones we flip quite often.

Is it 2010 or 2025? Google knows about negative SEO tactics, it doesn't work like that.

Yes, if you plan to sell the site, you can invest xxx dollars in PBN links, get some traffic and sell it.

:thumbsup:thumbsup

PBN links are meant to be built; not bought.

Andreweb 02-22-2025 08:40 AM

Build your own PBN, and write good articles on those blogs, when the blogs start to get organic traffic begin to build links to your site, step by step not all at the same time and you'll get results. This is the right way and still works.

LeMeLiN 03-18-2025 02:28 AM

PBN backlinks can't boost your site performance as they used to. In fact, they can hurt it. And yet, SEOs still use them.
