Securing your high value domain names ?
How to secure a domain name so it can't be easily transferred? For example, now anyone who has access to my GoDaddy account can log in and transfer. Ideally, a domain name service that asks for some kind of lawyer-written letter or something before making any changes, or they need to get an electronically signed copy, etc.

I think Moniker offered something like this way back in the day, although I doubt any reputable registrar will do this today.
Maybe take a look at Dynadot - https://www.dynadot.com/domain/security Haven't used Godaddy in many years but maybe you can do something similar with them like two factor authentication or hardware auth? Good luck :pimp:2 cents: |

They will, at request, send you a specific USB-cryptographic key, which is needed to identify and be able to fo domain changes. |
moniker is very strict, even when doing a transfer away from moniker, they emailed me to verify i was doin the trasnfer, and why to try and get me to stay i guess.
