does price make a difference for the affiliate?
so, wondering...
does the cost of subscription make a difference to you as an affiliate, subscribing to send traffic to a porn site, the content or the program? we all know content is king for the surfer & the wholesale content purchase, but... with respect to how much an affiliate will earn. Do you as an affiliate see $29.99 as a 50% sale, 15 quid in your hand or do you look at the site & see what sells, maybe the program itself, paying on time, how itīs paid? Is it content, the program, following the crowd or the price of the site & your return that makes you the prime affiliate & sale master? |
The only thing that really matter is the EPC (earnings per click).
In other words; where can I earn the most amount of money on my traffic. I've worked with affiliates a lot in the past, and some of my clients have been out-competed by competitors that paid lower payouts per sale, but because their offers/sites hat higher conversion rates for example. It's literally just a numbers game, nothing else. |
Will always be a combination of criteria.
A year or two ago I was pushing an investment advisory because single join comms were $750. Then the sponsor switched aff platforms and obsoleted ALL previous links by ALL affs. Dumb. |

so this investment advisory you were affiliate to, was that the company & product or the $750 commission? |
Kinda just math. If an inexpensive offer converts well or an expensive offer converts more occasionally, it can end up the same amount.
I do care if I think it is good value for the money to the consumers. |
Depends how it converts, we did some testing recently dropped pricing on a digital offer from $67 to $47, and gave the affiliate the options to promote the lower price for a $20 drop in comissions, people tested, some took that option others didn't

The program and company seemed fine. Their aff manager blew it though. |

Of course, the most important thing is to contact the affiliates, they have the right to the decision of dropping prices to push for more sales, as much as the site owner, thanks :thumbsup Quote:

Subscribers have a ton of money. Idea is the newsletter helps them pick stocks, with specific buy suggestions. There's a $1 preview version to get them hooked. 'Investment' or 'Investing affiliate programs' brings up lists of many sponsors like this. |

TBH, iīm considering raising or dropping my price & itīs looking like itīs down to the affiliates what way I go... Iīm very interested in doing a really stupid low price, if big players were going to send 1000īs of hits a day & see a good return. But of course, would be down to the amount of traffic that was sent. I know my retentions are good, my sales to hit ratio is ok, my contentīs good & my updates are daily, so itīs all down to what will give me the boost in affiliates sending the traffic & seeing their income :thumbsup |
