The White Lotus

Anyone catch the end of the The White Lotus season 3?

I think this is the best show currently on television. All three seasons are amazing.

Never watched it, seems like a show for chicks.

It was good, I realized some people don't watch it because it's a show for manly men.

It was 'OK'... However, there's one detail that had me scratching my head and feeling disappointed: the boy's reaction to the poisoning. As the body attempts to expel the poison, it's only natural to expect to see some signs of self soiling, which really would have added to the tension and realism of the scene is if the boy had taken care of business in a more authentic way.

Given the fact that he's been poisoned, one of the most telling signs of this discomfort would be the boy soiling himself. The fact that he shows zero signs of this, despite being in a state of distress and discomfort, feels like a missed opportunity to create a more nuanced and realistic portrayal of the boy's experience.

Of course, it's easy to say now that I wish the show had included this detail, but the fact remains that it's a crucial aspect of the scene that was left out. I can only hope that in future seasons, the writers will be more mindful of the importance of depicting the physical consequences of poisoning in a way that's both more realistic and erotic....

Agreed, I wish they zoomed out the camera and showed his soiled shorts, maybe a bit of brown and green diarrhea stains to give the viewer an even more visceral reaction.

Glad you agree with me :thumbsup

Well it would have certainly been feasible within the budget, & perhaps even an opportunity for an upcoming actor to do a spot of 'method acting' - But overall, I feel it was indeed a missed opportunity to introduce some much need faeces into the show :2 cents:

What about the fact that the black lady received a 5 million bank wire in her account with no questions asked whatsoever?
