Credit card processing solutions? Who is the best?

I am looking for credit card processing. I suppose it would be considered “high risk”. I am looking for per minute rates for one project. Trying to see who has the lowest rates. CCBill can do this, right?

fuzebox 06-07-2025 01:09 PM

MobiusPay :thumbsup

You wouldn't be charge the card every minute, you'd preauth in chunks and capture at the end of the session like the cam platforms do. Tech is on your end, all the billers do is auth/capture via API.

I assume ALL of these require the visa/mc annual fee.

Is Segpay still for Euro customers only?

Visa/MC requires the annual Visa/MC fee, it doesn't matter which direct or third party solution you use.

I don't know what product, but why not try crypto payment ? Now it's quite sophisticated and supported by many companies. The fees are awfully high when I look at ccbill etc..

No they've expanded and in the fall will be opening offices in Australia for companies INC - they can do it now without it. They are in United States btw

I love the idea of having it as an option. As somebody that doesn’t deal in any type of cryptocurrency, doesn’t the end-user have to deal in crypto as well in order to use it? In that case, it would be an excellent option, but I don’t wanna limit myself only to cryptocurrency users. Do you get what I’m saying?

The best payment processor, is the best one for you.

You have to contact all of them and ask all of the questions you've got. What are the fees? When do you issue payouts? And most importantly, what are the Terms and Conditions? (Really! Read their TOS...)

Don't lie to them. If you or your business has been refused by another payment processor because your location for example, don't hide this. Each processor has their own ways they can work with with you. Don't lie about your content either. If you lie to them now and get caught later, your funds will be withheld, your site won't be able to process transactions, and all the work you have done up to that point could be lost. Tell them your exact situation, your domain, your content etc, and if there are any potential roadblocks, they will tell you how to adjust for them, and about potential work-arounds if they exist.

Try to think of your payment processor as your business partner. If you work with them the way they can work with you, you will both come out on top.

I've been to their offices in FL, but from what I remember they needed EU entity to open an account. Good to know they take US now.

From a programming perspective, I find that working with RocketGate, Epoch, or CCBill to be straight forward and effective.

RocketGate has a great SDK that they put up on Github, which makes it easy to integrate. I would like to see more processors follow their lead on that.

From a fee perspective, I think the cheapest would be some kind of crypto system or Paygarden, because all of the credit card processors are going to charge high risk fees. My limited understanding is that a merchant account gives you the lowest fees, but it comes with it a lot of labor and initial costs to setup.

Fantastic information. Thanks, Mark! I will definitely keep this in mind.

The more that I read up on this, the more of a pain in the neck it becomes! I am trying to find the easiest, one-stop, all in one solution — but it appears that there isn’t one.

This is not a requirement of NETbilling, but the banks that we work with require a US or EU corporation and residence, and if in the EU, $15,000 minimum monthly volume currently processing to obtain a merchant account.

Hi Robert - Unfortunately the high risk banks that we work with are in the US and EU and require $15k per month current volume with 3 months of history minimum. That's not a restriction of NETbilling, but of the banks themselves. They also must be established in the EU or US.
