Chrome - What is this and how do i get rid of it?
 

So this just appeared on my Chrome bar and I don't have a clue what it is or how to remove it, any help appreciated.... The icon with the 4 small squares on it.

As a side note, this is why you should never let your kids work on your laptop...

Hi,

That's a relatively new feature called Tab Groups. Right click on the Bookmarks Bar and click Show tab groups. It should be gone.

it's just tab groups, nothing nefarious

simply a way to organize tabs. opening a group opens all the tabs you have in that group

just ignore it or right click to remove the icon
