Kaytlin Bailey is a sought-after, globally recognized leader in the sex worker rights movement. She’s a writer, comedian, and performer.

As the Founder and Executive Director of Old Pros, she leads a nonprofit committed to sex worker rights and hosts The Oldest Profession Podcast. She is currently performing The Oldest Profession, her critically acclaimed show that takes a witty, whirlwind tour through 10,000 years of sex work history. In 2023 alone, she brought it to audiences in 25 cities and 10 countries.

Her work has been featured on ABC, HBO, Lifetime, and Reason, and she has been quoted by top-tier media outlets such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, and The Boston Globe. Her writing has appeared in The Huffington Post, Vice, The Daily Beast, and Reason. She’s also spoken at major universities and appeared on national news to advocate for sex worker rights.

She launched Old Pros in 2020 to use the power of history and humor to break through stigma and influence the cultural mainstream.

During her tenure at Decriminalize Sex Work, it became clear that narrative change is the gateway to legislative change, because stories shape policy.
