"Welcome To Derry" - Thoughts?
 

Despite reading the book 'IT' years ago, and listening to audiobook a couple of times, I've never bothered with the films - Although I've seen clips of the Tim Curry 'classic' version and clips of the 2 recent Bill Skarsgård iterations, its never caught my imagination.

When it comes to entertainment, I don't mind graphic violence / gore, but I don't enjoy sudden loud noises / jump scares - So that kind of movie usually sits on the back burner for me. Sure I watched a few that are like that - But its not my first choice.

I liken that type of movie to a different genre of music so to speak - No issue with those who enjoy them, but just simply not for me...

But then I decided to give episode 1 of 'Welcome To Derry' a try! &... I'm Hooked! Wow! Really enjoyed it to be honest! Now, Im not deep into the lore of these films, but it was easy to follow, and I can't wait for next week's episode!

So, anyone else enjoy it / hate it? Fav parts? etc...

My fav part was the 'birth' in the car - That aroused me! I was watching on a black and white tv, and when it started bulging in her panties, I couldn't see Red, just Brown, & I thought that she was simply enjoying a nice big poo! :2 cents:

The kids in the movies are better... these kids are annoying..

Saw episode 1, amazed how gory it was for 'TV'. I'll be watching the season, see how it goes

waiting for all the episodes so we can binge-watch

You will never truly know, how much I hoped that you were using the toilet with your clothes on...

I thought perhaps you were in a transitional state - Using the toilet while clothed is great 'Bridging Move' to help you get used to just going whenever you want...

never heard of the series. It (never saw the movie) was ok but my fav King book was The Stand. just interesting when society falls apart how it all gets put back together. also some weird cool poetry in there
