Jennifer Lopez was rejected as the face of this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix because her fee was too high.

She is reported to have demanded £250,000, fuelling her reputation as a high-flying diva.

Organisers were said to have offered first-class tickets for her, fiance Ben Affleck, an entourage, as well as a £15,000 fee.

But J-Lo is said to have hit back with a mega £250,000 demand, according to The Sun.

"I know Ms Lopez is supposed to have a reputation, but this is ridiculous," said one of the organisers.

He said colleagues nearly choked with the high demands.

Sunday's Formula One event is an annual motor racing showpiece.

Drivers race along the winding streets of Monaco against a spectacular backdrop of hilltop homes and marina with flotilla of luxury yachts.

Many stars are expected to attend, including supermodels Naomi Campbell and Helena Christensen.

I saw some hollywood headline news segment on her from cnn and it said she made 36 million last year from all her movies, music and investments.

Owning the rights to her music will generate millions per year for the next 20 years at least.

you ares assuming this based on traditional methods of music distribution lasting for that long.

I'm assuming TV commercials, TV Shows, Movies, etc. will be licensing some or part of her songs. No matter what JLO does (for the most part) there is value that will continue to line her pockets for years.

Who knows, maybe Microsoft will come along and license "I'm Real" for their launching of Windows 2010. :)
