Whats the best program for making mpegs
 

I want something thats makes nice quality, good sized mpegs. Thats pretty easy to use, where you dont have to set 1000 options.

Can anyone recommend anything

Try sonicfoundry.com's vegas factory (smaller one) or vegas video.

Their interface is very easy to learn and they have all the tricks one needs. I think factory one doesn't have batches tho so if you don't need them I suggest it.
