ibill O.K?

How is everyong doing with ibill, now that their cmi is working again? sales, rebills, stats, conversions, etc?
I'm still looking for a secondary processor.

who is your main biller?

ThunderBalls 06-07-2003 06:01 PM

My Ibill sales have dropped by more than 50% in the past few weeks and it seems I am getting quite a few more 'subscription canceled' from them the past week, anyone else notice this?

lucky482 06-07-2003 06:05 PM

My paysite is going to launch in a week. My main biller will be acpay and for checks will be achdebit.

Do you see a big difference? Are you getting more sales with ibill?

Here is an example of why you should never use Ibill and it happened just two days ago.

We had a member who fucked up his password by typing it in wrong over a dozen times, well Bot Buster banned the fool as it looked like a hack attempt. This member wasn't too bright and thought Ibill who he joined through controlled the passwords, even though we have a password problems button and a FAQ button on our tour and in the members area?

Anyway he contacts Ibill saying how can i correct this? Ibill as you would expect don't bother to reply to him so two days later he contacts us and asks the same question , we check and find that for a week he has constantly tried the wrong password 245 times getting him and his IP banned to fuck. So that's no problem as soon as we are aware 2 minutes and he is all unblocked ( nasty ) Hey hang on! he still cannot get into the site, can you guess why?

Those fucking Ibill assholes took one look at his e-mail ( which i have a copy of ) and though in their wisdom wow!! better remove his password from the password bin, then ban him from ever using that CC again, oh and while we are about it refund 10 months of rebills. So this guy who never asked for a refund and only wanted his password to work has now had 10 months of fee access and is complaining to us still because he never wanted his money back, never asked for it and is bitterly complaining because he still wants to be a member of this site but his CC no longer works with IBILL, Epoch or CCBILL. Not once did Ibill contact us, not fucking once.

And you guys wonder why so many people hate IBILL. This is just one reason we dropped them completely today from our join page and will wait until the rebills run out then we can rid all our sites of this plague of idiots.

damn that is messed up. How come that member can't rejoin with your other processors? I don't think they share fraud databases.

To be honest i am not sure as Ibill was last in line of all our processor options he may have been turned down By Epoch then CCbill and just managed to join via Ibill which is one good reason to have a few choices on your sites. Its possible that negative data bases are in some way shared but i dont know for sure. its still a $300 fuck up by Ibill and god knows how many other sites this happens to. We are doing some investigating to see how many more fuck up they have made, but it will take a few weeks to go through every site and membership.

AC Pay was doing very well for us up until about May 20, then it dropped off by about 50%. They seem to have been having some network issues and have possibly tuned up their scrub recently.

gypsi 06-07-2003 07:36 PM

all of my rebills were great about 90% rebilled every month.. after cmi went down i lost about 80% of all rebills. i have been with them for 5 years and never really had big problems untill about a year ago. think some thing is up it seems when they are in trouble we have to pay for it .. since the last year with the 900 bullshit and we are changing payment days by 2 days. and so on ..
i think they are fucked

Yeah I heard from aclounge that they had some network problems but I'm pretty sure it's nothing big. As for sales dropping after May 20th...hmmm that's interesting. Maybe they scrub harder at the end of the month to stay below the cc's chargeback percentages.
