hey shemp do you mind this?

say i have a gallery, and i have my banners/recip buttons hosted on like cable/dsl space? its fast loading and everything but i didnt know if you considered this taboo or not.

so in other words i have my own host but i'm hot linking my sponsors banners/ads/recip buttons from my own cable modem webspace.

Sounds like it would be a hassle for him to know who was doing this and who was actually stealing. I wouldn't allow it, but I'm not Shemp. :)

Nap in case you didn't notice, your sig button is showing up as a big red X to the rest of us - might be a good idea to remove that code from your sig.

Don't hotlink your buttons from somewhere else. Period. Do it from the same domain your banner is coming from. That way they're sure to load, they won't slow down the loading of the page, and you won't get rejected for doubts of being a cheater.

There's plenty of banner-free hosting being put out by the sponsors. If you're *that* worried about some recip buttons pulling that much bandwidth, make your galleries for each sponsor on their provided free space. But trust me, it's not the recips which are going to cost you bandwidth. Make sure your thumbs are 5-6k each and your big pics aren't huge in file size; 35-45k is enough and still gives you a nice big crisp picture (unless you're working with crap to begin with).
