Do with 'em what you want... these are all domains owned by the same group of cheaters/spam submitters/dialer redirects/console poppers/homepage changers...
I figure by unveiling as many of their domains as possible in the end it will be worth their while not to submit to me anymore. So I invite all TGP-owners to add these to your blacklists... Only by making their domains worthless these people might try to make an honest living for a change... after all, every blacklisted domain is 15 bucks down the drain... What happens if someone that owns one of these domains sells it to someone else? i.e. Under new management
Is there a blacklisted domain clearing house for webmasters that buy a lot of domains around? That would certainly change the value unless there was a way to take it off these lists. |

I've been tracking IP's of submissions lately to a TGP of mine and it's interesting to see how many people submit a string of good stuff, then suddenly change their handle and submit dialer mouseover bullshit from the same IP. |

Dialer get reported to me instantly. So these domains are up for an hour max (I start working round about the time the new update goes live). So he keeps submitting thinking he's getting listed, but instead they're feeding my blacklist... Very funny stuff ;-) But to cut a long story short: if enough domains get blacklisted everywhere it won't be worth the trouble of submitting anymore. It's not just the 6,95 for a domain registration, it's registering a domain, setting up and building galleries, (manually) submitting to my site, waiting to get listed and then eventually pull the plug on a gallery only to find it removed an hour after they pulled it... Somehow they kept doing it. By adding the bad situation of getting the domains completely useless by sharing the list eventually might get it to their heads that there are other ways to make money. Funny thing is that most of these cheaters know how to build galleries that get listed... I keep being amazed about the fact that these people are wasting their skills on cheating. Most of 'em undoubtly can make a shitload if they would play by the rules... |

What I've noticed or is common with our TGPs is that one of the most common 'denominators' with the cheaters is that they have great domains or popular ones with the .net

I just ran into a tsunami of some of the sites you've listed and just notified everyone with software to get the spyware and dialers and shit that those sites kick out. I was stunned to see such blatant cheating and scamming and no one had done anything. Til I got here and read your post. Glad the biggest kid on the block took notice. www.spybot.com www.winpatrol.com www.scumware.com Are a few free programs (some pay programs but the free versions work fine) that I would recommend. The craftiness of these cheaters is amazing. I ran into a mouseover multiple redirect/dialer download/director changer all in one. It only works on broadband as 56k or slower would catch them too quickly. Webmasters and surfers should use anti-spyware but there's a caveat to that. Some of these cheaters use 'referral code jackers' which change your referral code to theirs so they get the sale. The anti-spyware or 'evidence' washers most surfers are using do additional damage because if the surfer doesn't buy on the spot after visiting your site, they reboot later or come back later and their directories are cleaned including your cookie referral code. Sucks don't it? I dunno, maybe one day I'll get listed on the Hun's site and make enough loot to thwart evil. |
