Yep, they do.
LAN cable access in every room, 25 Euros per day.
When are you coming to A'dam?

Go to priceline.com and get a Marriott room.

There are two Marriotts in Amsterdam

Actually, now that I think about it, I could arrange some sort of venue for everyone coming, perhaps we can turn it into a small-scale networking event. If anyone else is interested I could organise something.

That's a good hotel, in a very nice neighbourhood. Depends on what you want, though, the Swissotel is slap bang in the center, very noisy/busy outside. Bestwestern is much quieter, but close enough to the center. Heh, Amsterdam's so small that everything is close to the center, actually :)

umm, won't you be retired and sitting on the porch of an old folks home cursing at the kids who drive by after this Oct?

quiet 06-14-2003 01:03 AM

hmm, no places left at the swiss hotel.

mule 06-14-2003 01:08 AM

I'll phone around if you want and find out, if you give me a time-frame.

i'll have to talk to my bro (probably next week) to know for sure.

cheers :)

mule 06-14-2003 01:59 AM

OK, let me know :)
One usually gets results faster on the phone, and from arranging hotel rooms for people lately I've discovered that many of these sites aren't updated often enough...you think there's a vacancy and it turns out to be fully booked, or vice versa.

:thumbsup - Stayed there in November during the AOE show. My only suggestion would be to go bigger than the "executive" suite as those are kind of small and hard to move around in.

BRISK 06-14-2003 03:00 AM

I've never had any problems booking through www.accomline.com

Try it out :thumbsup

XYCash 06-14-2003 04:51 AM

Swissotel definitely. It's right in the middle of everything. If you're driving at all - make sure you don't park in the garage across the street though, it's ultra expensive...ask them where the cheap parking is. It's up the street a ways.
