For whatever reason people (mostly Americans) think that they have the god given right to be filthy rich, and if someone else happened to make it there before them then they assume they must have cheated or gotten lucky (i.e. won the lottery).

"The American Dream"

Does it matter how you achieve it?

Brujah 06-16-2003 06:38 PM

I like Python's weekly payouts. I like WebPower's weekly payouts. I like ARS's weekly payouts.

More pointless american bashing, like greed and class struggle was inventend in America. Get a clue. This country is not even 400 years old yet the problems you describe date to pre-history

Brujah 06-16-2003 09:08 PM

According to the Bible, the world is only about 6,000 years old.

Why do you think I always want to hang around and Kick your balls all the time at shows man

andi_germany 06-17-2003 01:41 AM

As a European I was always (even when I lived in the US) suprised that most Americans still use check as payments. The companies give you salery checks the sponsors give you checks and basically everybody wants checks. On the other side everybody pays using the credit card even when paying a buck.

Is it really cool to run to your bank every week? I have not been to my bank building in month. I pay every bill wireing the money online and I receive all my payments using wires. Due to the American check likes wires are expensive so a weekly payout is simply to expensive. It always bugs me that I have to chenge payment schedules for each sponsor or biller so I can stay on a monthly schedule.

Wow. So touchy.

You sound very insecure.

It looks to me like I was simply asking a question?

If that's all it takes to upset you, you might want to voluntarily section yourself right now.

When i was there I noticed most people used eu debit cards, not CC cards. Infact ...a lot of the stores didn't even take credit cards.

Has that been your experience being a european?

BTW..i agree with the check thing. 9 times out of ten when I am in a store at the register I've got some housewife in front of me taking 20 minutes to write out a check and balance her check book.

I honestly find it very hard to believe that 12clicks has friends.

Or perhaps people just like to be around him because he has money.

For the record I happen to be an American....Americans tend to be more economically motivated than people in other cultures, especially compared to the pseudo-sociallist cultures of most other countries.

How does what I said make me an asswipe?
