ProAdult AVS stay non-affected by VISA/MC changes!!!
 

Just noticed that ProAdult AVS is staying non-affected by the latest VISA/MC disaster like many others. All the details please read at the PA local board (I can't disclosure them here). I'm also strongly recommending everyone to move or at least duplicate your existing AVS sites to ProAdult!!!

Finally, some good news in the AVS world.

Like I said I talked with them in length today on the phone and they stated there merchant/processing is over seas and Visa has not looked there way. ONLY usa domestic visa processing. Who knows

Nobody knows what's coming down the pipe. Recall those ISPS's that claimed to be unaffected by new regulations only to introduce them a few months later, much to the dismay of their clients. There are a number of AVS's that have relations outside of the US, but to tell webmasters this means they're immune is a mistake, but effective marketing.

However, I would also agree that it's a good idea to move sites around in the meantime. Putting your eggs in as many baskets as possible is arguably the best method of precaution in this type of situation.

Course there is no guarantee for everything that related VISA/MC (they are strange guys IHMO). However I recommend you to read the original post that John did on PA's private board regarding the matter. I think he knows that he is talking about.

This is true. These people who think that by continually moving to some eprocessor that hasn't YET been notified it is not in compliance, they will not have to pay the $750 fee are just putting off the inevitable (and probably wasting a lot of time!)

So..they're not in the U.S. And for NOW, Visa hasn't said anything.
Do you really think Visa is just going to say "Oh, ok..no prob since you're overseas"?

Actually it sounds like something bush jr would be likely to say.

Because the referral fees are $2 for each signup and renewal. Since they recur at 80% or better that means the average signup stays over six months, adding up to nice money if you have a number of full time webmasters signed up under you.
But why sign up under him when there are people who will design and setup your pa site just for the referral.
