I just checked my Soul Cash linkcodes.

To my surprise I was redirected to a URL that didn't have my webmaster ID in it.

It should have redirected me to:
http://www.bravegirls.com/index1.html?test::

but instead I was redirected to:
http://www.bravegirls.com/index1.html?mcommerce::

Next time I tried it, I was redirected to the correct one.
I get redirected to the mcommerce account every 15-20 time I use the linkcode.

btw. "test" is not my real account.

It seems to be limited per site too. After 2-3 times it doesn't seem to redirect anymore.
Then I tried another site, and it started redirecting again.

I've been testing links but haven't seen one redirect. I'm discussing it with the programmers now.

the funny thing about this is when it is all said and done and the error is fixed you wont have the balls to apologize for saying Soulcash was 'shaving'.

SixNine is a very respectable webmaster that runs an even more respectable affiliate program. I highly doubt that he would do something like this on purpose. Mistakes happen, people aren't perfect!

Honestly, I'd love to see some proof that this is an error. Please keep in mind, I'm talking real proof, not GFY newbie proof. Some new account posting that they're your programmer and that they fucked up isn't going to fly with anyone with half a brain. I saw the shit redirect to your house account with my own two eyes, it's going to take real evidence to make me believe this wasn't out and out shaving.

And even if I did say I'd put that in my sig if this wasn't shaving, I also recall asking for more than hearsay. Claiming you got hacked is a little Like Whoa, don't ya think?

If I load a sponsor code with a random affiliate ID, then how does the cheater (mcommerce) get it to redirect to his account? The only way to do this would be to hack into your program script on your server, and have every X number of hits redirect to his.

How likely is this?

Shavers, or their system is not very secure. hmm, I would've gone with a different excuse, they loose either way with this one. A rouge employee that they quickly terminate would've been better in my opinion. Like Whoa pretty much killed the "we're getting hacked" excuse the 10th time they pulled it.

MCommerce is a Russian affiliate out of Brooklyn. They hacked our box and modified a few things.

Ha ha I'll be the butt of the jokes, you can rub my name in the mud, and make SoulCash part of the GFY drama for today.

Here's a little proof for you... when the link redirects it's even spoofing the referrer (which is hard coded into the hacks they made).

MCommerce is a cheater. He ripped SoulCash off for $520 and was just bugging me for more money the other day on ICQ. I'm just glad he's caught and has brought this exploit to the surface so we can implement security fixes. This is just one more thing to add to the list of pranks that have been pulled on my company.

Being a sponsor puts you at the top of the food chain and is a shit load of fun but... days like today truly suck ass. I guess growth has it's down side.

We're trying to make our afiliates as much cash as possible and at the same protect ourselves from our affiliates... definetly a fucked up dynamic.

1. Mcommerce ripped you off for $520.

2. Mcommerce hacks into SoulCash in May, and obviously becomes one of SoulCash's top affiliates (hit wise at least if going by my 5.5% test result).

3. Mcommerce begs you for money.

Wow I wish I had your expert opinion and advice two months ago, oh but forget it, you're probably busy running your ultra succesful affiliate program and Internet Security business.

None of it was strange. Lot's of people send from exit consoles. Basically they caught me with my mouth open (as Eddie Murphy would say).

I'll put money where my mouth is... Any SoulCash affiliate that contacts me I will calculate 5% of there earning since May 16th and add it to their next check (as long as it meets the minimum).
