Purity Scan/ucbill.com = Cheaters (read)
 

Today I was expecting to get a check from UCBILL.COM/PURITY SCAN of the approx. amount of $2200. I open the envelope to find out that only $850 was paid out to me. When i emailed Purity Scan about this issue, this is the response i received from Purity Scan Steve (The guy in charge of ucbill):

"purityscansteve (11:15 AM) :
Hey Paul, the reason your check was for less is because we are no longer paying for double-installs. Only unique installs are counted now. This in now reflected on your earnings page, as of July 1st. Starting in August, we will be raising our rates to 17 cents to reward our webmasters for generating unique installs"

The email that was sent to me said:

"Paul,

Please see the ICQ message that we sent. Only 35% of your installs were unique, and therefore you were only paid for 35% of your earnings. If you have any further questions, please let us know."

I can't even explain how mad I am right now at this company. Just as I thought there was going to be some good news hearing that the company is raising rates weeks ago....we are all getting FUCKED OVER.

That means that the amount of $2200 i earned in June would come out to the same amount as the check i received in the mail today. UCBILL didn't warn us ahead of time so that webmasters who promote them would have a chance to find another sponsor. That means all webmasters will get fucked over for their $ for 2 months without warning.

First off......the changes they made did not reflect in May, June, or july stats and no email warning was sent out to webmasters about the change ahead of time. Everyone is expecting the amount that is displayed on their stats page so basically they stole our traffic because they did not tell us of the changes and therefore we did not have a chance to find a different sponsors .

I am considering looking into filing a lawsuit against them with other webmasters who got cheated with UCBILL. Anyone who can comment on this issue, please post.

Interesting though....I saw someone called "PurityscanSteve" register earlier today.

Wonder if he's a new owner or just a new alias for PurityscanAustin and/or BCamp......

Porn companies have this notion that as long as it's in their TOS it superseeds the law. It's fucking hilarious. An established adult law firm would make a killing in this biz.

Same happened to me "31% was unique". I find that hard to believe. Installs like PurityScan usually aren't installed more than once. Anyone who has ever clicked a Purity link knows this and would be stupid to reinstall it again.

I want to hear what they have to say about this.

BTW, If you are unhappy with UCBill you can promote Download Plus from Pornkings. When they were paying for international traffic and changed their rules they paid EVERY PENNY of prior traffic I have sent.

PornKings only pay out on American & Canadian but Purity paid on all English speaking traffic

Right now I am not sending traffic to Download Plus (Pornkings) anymore, but I plan to do again in the future.
I was doing better with pornkings then I were with ucbill.

When I first heard about this, I was inclined to get every ripped off webmaster together and threaten a joint lawsuit. However, after having spoken to BCamp Im willing to give them a few days to sort out the mess. It's possible when switching over to uniques there was a stats bug of some kind as well. He didnt say that specififcally but said he would be looking into everything on a case by case basis on monday. So, we'll see what happens. As far as Jer's situation, theres no excuse for them ignoring your emails/ICQs. What I thought was one of the best sponsors I've ever used suddenly doesnt look so hot.

2 questions for people who run Pornkings (which i am switching to until further notice) 1) Are we allowed to send traffic however we want like ucbill? 2) Does 31% uniques sound fishy to you? I figure your stats can shed some light on this. Doesnt make much sense to me...

I was paid 42% according to what my stats show, so this 35% is not a hard-coded figure.

as it was a new program we took a major hit on paying for all traffic. Pornkings has always been honest and our word is bond.
Even though we took the hit. we paid everyone out on installs we new we would never be able to profit from or recoop revenue from.Hopefuly something comes around:)

We were hoping we could find a solution for the international installs but had no luck. we will continue looking for a solution on international installs.

Yeah, the stats just jammed for me. I referred 6 people in the past two days and their not counting either. Then every day at some time I seem to get 13 installs.

Anybody have a high traffic site and only get 13 installs? Seems to be a trend.

Removing all my links right now. Its a shame that program seemed to kick ass. Too good to be true I guess. :(

HQ, I was using a pop under to a page with blind link movie thumbs liked to Pornkings Download Plus (I did the same with UCBill). It worked great for me.

I plan to use Pornkings Download Plus again when I build new sites.
