Buying a bike
 

Ok next week I'm walking into some bike shop and plunking down cash for a bike

Suggestions?

Please dont say harley, i'm not paying over inflated prices for anything

I'd like a nice cruiser or a comfortable crotch rocket if such a thing exists

Just commit suicide, it will be much cheaper, and quicker than killing yourself on a bike.

Have heard great things about the Yamaha FZ1 too.

Just do not come around these parts, I try to run sport bikes off the road for shits and giggles.

I guess you missed the part where I said I have been riding for 22 years and then I posted a pic of my last bike.

Those are nice to and the price is like pocket change. They have a 40th Anniversary Volusia at Desert Motorsports, pearl white with gold pinstriping.... its very tempting, but its an 800cc. I'm kinda tempted to try out the 1300cc VTX

yeah I hear ya ... but still 800cc you can go plenty fast on, and we're not gettin any younger :eek7

I had a Katana 750 and let me tell you, for 748cc , that lil' can of tuna went like snot !!

... and I still say my 2 'Zukis were my 2 favorite bikes
