I'll summarize past threads.....


need low light capability (mardi gras etc) = Sony VX-2000

going to be using good lighting = any 3ccd mini-dv should do

high end pro porn movies (eg Vivid Video) = Canon XL1 or XL1s

Sony VX 2000 is the most often used cam

Also the Canon's are top notch and a few other 3 CCD cams.

Actually Fisher Price makes a nice one that runs on audiocassetts and is B&W.

Personally we use the Sony VX 2000 but to be honest if you have to ask you are going to waste your money. :2 cents:

canon XL1S or XM2 - great results.

We use the Canon XL-1s and love it.
