It went on to order the secret police to sabotage power plants, assassinate imams, buy stolen weapons from citizens and generally create mayhem. The document has not been officially verified, but a senior Pentagon official called it ?plausible,? and in any case the orders have been largely, if not entirely, carried out. "

The US is going to payoff the former Iraqi army with salaries that are 10 times what Saddam was paying them.

Saddam was paying his soldiers $15 a month if I remember correctly and the US is going pay them $150 a month.

Not exactly great wages, but I guess over there it goes a long way.

Well, there was a quote in that article along the lines of "I'll kill Americans for $100". So I guess $150 is ok by them.

Saddam is still winning because he's costing America $3.9 Billion a month and Osama/Taliban are still winning because Afganistan is costing America 950 million a month
