If you can believe this, I am in Manila, and last night my staff showed me a local delicasy called a "Balot"

Its a cooked ducks egg with a formed Fetus inside

I was reluctant to try balot the first time, but it was pretty damn good. The texture and the crunch catch you off guard the first time you eat it, then it's kinda like eating popcorn.

Try some adobo, pork or chicken, you'll like that. But ya, chocolate beef, or dinguan, is not for the faint hearted.
