Who The Fuck Wants To Drive At 86 Years Old ?????
Anyone who drives after the age of 60 is just plain ignorant.
If I was related to any of those folk that got killed or injured, I'd be out looking for that old bastard. I hear they tried to make it 75 or something a year or two ago, but this got thrown out for age descrimination.... Fuckers !! :feels-hot |
I agree 100%

Yes. A specified age certainly determines your ability to function properly.

Recently down here in Florida a 90 year old driver ran over a small kid on a bike. Guy just kept on going. When the police caught up with him and pulled him over he refused to give them his license fearing they wouldn't give it back to him.
Old folks get very stubborn, paranoid, and deranged mentally. I always get a chill when I see a car with one of those blue handicapped placards hanging. I just think what the fuck the guy is openly saying I'm handicapped and have a disability, but I'm ok to drive this 4000 pound piece of lethal steel just fine. :321GFY |
I think people should be getting licenses at 21 to 23... Too many idiots driving at 17, suping up their cars and then killing people.

after 70-75, they should past a test every year to see if they are still fit for it... and maybe have a ban after 80... |
My grandparents are both 75 and I guarantee they're more active than 99% of the people on this board. Bailing hay, feeding cows, cutting down trees.
The driving problem has nothing to do with age. It has to do with the loss of ability and functionality that comes with age. That's what should be tested, not an overall rule saying everyone over 70 should be off the roads. Shit, 70 isn't even that old anymore. Get a grip. |
at that age, i'd rather fuck than drive
|
whooaa "60" is a little young, my Dad is 60, and he'd be pretty fucking insulted that you don't think he should drive to work.
|
Seniors Citizens should be checked every year if they are still fit to drive. You don't want your grandpa raom some innocent bystandards. :feels-hot
|
would testing still be discrimination?
|
Hehehe - my Dad's 68 and drives a convertible corvette. :winkwink:

If I ran the country, you'd get a learner's permit at 16, but couldn't get a driver's license until you were at LEAST 18 and the test would be more than dodging a few cones in a parking lot like it is in GA. And I think after 65 (or 70) tests at LEAST every 2 years need to be implemented. |
Seriously they should give that guy 8 counts of manslaughter.
Who else is to blame? The guy DID NOT have a heartattack. He said he got the gas confused with the break pedal. Sounds fishy to me... the guy is conscious and goin 100mph through like 3 blocks? This should be a nice wakeup call to those calling "Age Discrimination" when they were trying to implement a maximum age of driving. |
60? :1orglaugh
People are living to be healthy into their 90's these days. You think that everyone who is over 60 shouldn't be driving? No driving for the last 40 years of your life, no matter how healthy you are? |

You are the one who is ignorant. Young people (and Mexicans) cause most traffic accidents. |
I think that they need ot have EYE tests!
When you get old the eye sight goes! My grandad is 88, he just lost his! |
If old people can drive why can't I drive drunk legally?
hmmm |
