Stop the pop

Ok, the internet has gotten so absurdly ad intensive that I now need a pop-up blocker program. I hear that netscape 7.0 has a built in one but I usually use IE. Any recommendations from you guys would be useful.

Thanks.

Yeah I just got the google taskbar one... only thing is, it doesn't stop the popups from like Gator or similar companies. Anyone know of any software that is capable of blocking those too?

Netscape 7 has one, but the program itself is riddled with AOL crap and bookmarks and other stuff that they pre-package it with.
If you're going to go that route, then just get Mozilla 1.4
by the way, Netscape 7.1 = Mozilla 1.4

Mozilla 1.4 has no ads though, or any of that extra AOL added crap.

I've been using it for a long time and the popup blocker works great.

How does it compare to stability of IE? Nutscrape always crashed on me and was really slow and a huge ram resource... then again IE crashes a lot too...

I use Mozilla for over a year and didn't get any popups so far...

If you are used to IE and don't wanna switch, I heard MyIE has some popup blocker, but not sure
