any other bikers here try their hand at stunting? I quit after a few friends wrecked. :(

I think that is called an "endo" on a motorcycle

It's called a "There better be noone following you too close"

An endo is usually when you go too far over and hit the ground.
I've usually heard that moto trick called a front tire wheelie.
I bust them on my mountain bike. sometimes with a 180 thrown in for fun.
I also think that the pic is photoshopped. The ground under the rear tire looks too uniform.

PenetratinP 07-20-2003 01:17 AM

endo is a dirtbike term......short for "end over end"

here's a quick cut and paste from the stunting forum at my bike board

"Stunters Corner
Wheelies, stoppies , general stunts. Tips and Pics. "

typically people will say an endo is when you actually do go 'end over end' meaning you just crashed.

I've seen people use both......but the quote above is the correct usage.

here's a guide for the sport/dirt bikers on the board

which pic? the porsche....?

i guess it might be ps, but the pic of me is real.

<hahahaha- LV xtremes member here..... ok trick names...

Stoppie is when you pop up on your front wheel at the stop then set it back down..... a "rolling endo" self explanatary..... the best I got is cross up catwalk to a cross up endo then back to the real wheel again..... I can bee seen in "Vegas Knights" executing this.... for traliors lemme give a buddy of mine a link right now http://www.bendoe.com

DirtyDanza 07-20-2003 01:22 AM

here is my buddy Ben doing a rolling endo.... Bendo holds the world record for rolling endo's if anyone cares.... 3 football fields.....

Rolling Endo

It might be PS...only because the engine of a 911 is in the back and thus the intertia needed to lift the rear tyres would be like (blow dust off first year engineering textbooks) uh, wait accounting for suspension travel...plus the mass of the engine, times the length of moment arm is the wheelbase uh...probably Photoshop...maybe not.

I always thought 'stoppie' was British for 'endo'.

jimmy3way 07-20-2003 01:30 AM

Although that's exactly what a 911 Cup car would look like coming off a small jump rally car style.

nice video!....a bit squidly without gear...but i guess making a stunt video in full gear doesn't look as cool

even the starboyz use the terms interchangeably on their site....i've always heard stoppie and rolling stoppie.....

whatever :) - less talking more riding
