flashing moving banners?
 

In the process of updating my site to increase my join ratio.

I know they work to get someone to notice your banner but once inside your site is it advantageous to put color changing text on your join page.

I saw this site's join page - to me it's distracting, but I am not a porn buyer. It's hard to think like a customer anymore.
