has anyone run into the acacia people at Internext yet?
 

are they handing out packets to everyone they see or what's going on?

I can't belive that the guys from acacia are going to show at the internext. Will they really be there?

I did this morning. I saw a couple of them talking in the lobby. I walked up behind the older gentlemen and grabbed his ass while slipping my hand in his pocket to grab his PDA. I now have phone numbers and their complete weekend schedule.

i doubt they would make themself visible. Probably just have a hotel room and having pre-arranged meetings.

they shouldn't be allowed to have a booth, and if I had a booth and they allowed them to get one I would demand a refund.

IMPA has a booth though, so show your support!

I'd guess they'll be here walking around seeing if there is anyone that they missed, and maybe drop off a few packets. :(

I'd be more curious as to what sort of deals some are making. I know of at least one that thinks they are going to make a killing on the stocks.

Geez, not to smart to be mouthing off threats and stupid shit towards ACACIA. They read the boards and it might come back and haunt you when or if you go to court as well as project a negative image on all of us as a whole. The sooner everyone takes them seriously and realizes that they mean business the better the outcome will be for everyone.

I personally would look forward to them being at the show. It would be a good time to ask them any questions you may have directly face to face.

Just be sure and put your name tag in your pocket when you go near their booth!

I don't think anyone should be threatening physical harm to them, but if I was there and one of them approached me and tried to talk to me, I'd just look at them as if they had the plague, roll my eyes, and walk away with my nose in the air, snootily saying, "Excuse me, but I don't lower myself to associate with extortionists."

Maybe I'm just too civilized for the webmaster world. :)
