"Capt. Timothy Phelps said a woman identified as Donna Lynette Walker was brought to the Shawnee County Adult Detention Center at 5:15 p.m. (6:15 p.m. EDT).

Boone County, Indiana, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Walker, 35, charging her with a felony count of identity deception and a misdemeanor count of false informing after she claimed to be Shannon Sherrill, the grown daughter of Mike and Dorothy Sherrill.

Shannon vanished from Thorntown, Indiana, on October 5, 1986, after playing with friends outside her home.

Authorities said Walker not only called the parents with her false claim but also telephoned members of the news media so the story would generate more publicity. "

I am so angry about this, how dare that twatless twit toy with the emotions of the Sherrill family???

My birthmother went through-in a round about way-what parents of missing kids feel and experience. When I found her last year, she said she spent 36 years wondering-every day-where I was, was I dead or alive, what had happened in my life. I can't fathom the pain, aching, from losing a child (to kidnapping, adoption, or otherwise).

I have a 20 month old and if she ever went missing and someone hoaxed my hopes up, I'd have to seriously injure them.

No, scratch that, forget injure. Kill. That is all.

That news conference totally broke my heart. I couldn't even fathom the amount of pain that man experienced. It is so shameful that she had some connection to my area, what a waste of life this women has turned herself into.:ak47:
