need your advice
i run a j4f site i have a about 10 affiliates sending traffic
my script flagged one account where the affiliate sent 3 aol users all with different emails address however the ip address where all exactly the same is that a little fishy? |
It's fishy indeed but don't go deleting accounts for a measle 3 mail signups.

due to the way the AOL system works IP's are strange, i wouldnt pay to much attention to it myself but i dont know that much on it to be honest

yeah its fishy when you are allowed to have 7 sn's on one aol account

No its not fishy AOL users come from proxy servers. You will find tons of AOL users appearing to have the same IP address. However when they start using resources like mail or signups you should see slight differences in the IP but it's not uncommon tp see a shit load from the same subnet. In fact you can have same user generate a slightly different IP from AOL in the same session on multiple pages.
