paypal..biz or personal?
 

I need to set up a paypal account to take transactions on a website. Is there anybody here who does it now and do you use a personal or biz account and what is this verified shit. I don't think i want to give them my checking account number.

Hope you are not planning on using paypal for anything adult related. They will shut you down.

If you do not setup a biz account you will not be able to accept credit cards. Additionally failing to verify may subject you to system limitations and will certainly lower your trust level amongst prospective customers.

yeah i have a biz account with them for 3 years for my non adult shit.. never had a problem.

To accept credit cards, the account has to either be a premier or business account. If your account is a premier, when money is sent, your name will appear as the seller. If I remember correctly, to accept web-based sales, the account has to be verified. Just set up a new checking account somewhere just for paypal if you don't want to use your current checking account.

That's what I'm gonna do. I've never used paypal before because I've heard alot of bad things happening.

i was selling stuff on ebay.. for along time selling clothing and such.... they closed my account.. said i was selling adult material...which was NOT true.. so i appealed the decision and 5 days later they reinstated my account after they reviewed all of my transactions.

they will fuck with you at least one time. just don't keep large sums of money in your account.

is there an alternative to paypal? for adult related stuff
