I live in NY Long ISland not the city and have been looking into moving within the next year or two.

If you were to move and were in my shoes, were would you go to and why?

You might be more of a city/social person than me, but my next move is going to be to somewhere relatively unpopulated (compared to the bay area), unpolluted, and clean. Hopefully somewhere just outside of Vancouver in B.C.

If I could drop everything and move right now, it'd be to there. I'm tired of being able to smell the atmosphere.

I think I would gamble 24 /7 there if i moved there.

LOL seriously though over 25 yrs in NY has taken its toll and I have been there done that. Besides the cost of living is getting worser every year.

I grew up in Philly, but my dad's apparel biz was up in NYC and he kept an apartment up there. Fantastic city, but I couldn't handle more than a few days of that constant chaos and the way its so crunchy munchy on the sidewalks like a zillion ants all walking next to you. And NYC cabbies scare the living hell out of me. I almost got nailed once crossing the street thinking the guy would slow down so I would make it across but the fucking turnbin head paki floors it to make me jump. Too too crowded. But killer restaurants and shopping for sure.

Australia would be a nice place to live:thumbsup

im in central / north NJ area.. and want out soon.. the cost of living here is getting too high, especially car insurance (ny is worse but still its high).. i was thinking of moving to the Tampa, FL area, but i'd defintely miss being close to NYC, and being away from somewhere that i know where to go for everything i need when i need it :(
