Getting old....
 

in 6 days, I hit 30.

I still feel like i just turned 16.

If my wife or daughter doesn't tell me to "grow up" at least once a day, my day is incomplete.

All my similiarly aged friends, act like old people.

This makes me sad, but not for long.

That is all.

It won't be long..

Just turned 32 and most of my friends act like a bunch of geriatrics. Just stay young at heart, physical age means nothing...

I'm 37 and i feel 18 most of the time..just dont look like it anymore..

I had to drag my kids out to learn snowboarding this year..the boys whined and bitched..WTF

My daughter and I listen to the same music and we shop in the same clothes section.....i just cant see myself ever acting old...i guess i will have to grow up sometime...

my father is 60 this year and he is just now feeling a bit old.. the pot smoking, beer drinking, harley riding fool....

I'll be 33 in september and I dont feel old at all. Alot of people tell me that your 30s and 40s are the best years. So far its been true.

I don't go to clubs.

In fact the only I've only been to 2 strip clubs, and one bar, in my life.

Another year later..... and it all still applies.

well, my kids don't borrow my clothes, but we do like the same music . . . I went to see Aerosmith with my daughter when she was 18 or 19 . . .no way in hell my parents would have done that with me

You lose your angst as you get older, but you also tend to lose your drive. You understand much more about life, but at some point it becomes too late to make the changes you need to make in order to improve your condition.

The worst part is that you can't stare at high school chicks anymore without being perceived as a perv. :winkwink:

This thread is an oldie but a goodie.

I think a lot of it is perceptual. You think that you feel 18 but you actually don't and you don't behave like it. We all become more tame, more wise, and conditioned (ex. to follow the rules or certain conduct) throughout life without realizing it. You wouldn't do the same idiotic things today that you would when you were actually 18.

Nothing equalizes language like playing counterstrike. I've seen 40+ guys reduced to saying "FUCK 4ll j00 f4gZZZ" with sufficient exposure.

May not actually make you younger, but sure does suck all the intelligence & maturity out of your skull. That's close enough right? :thumbsup

i like the idea of adding a year to my age.. it makes me realize that time passes and i'm collecting more experiences.

All my friends got old real quick.

Besides the creaky joints, wrinkles, weight gain, etc, I now don't "Shoot a load" for money shots; rather, I "Dribble a few drops"--and, that's on a "good" day:-)!!!
