Say what you will, he's a nice guy. People give him shit for being *slow.* Sure, he can't really speak well, but he's no idiot. Anybody who has met him face to face will tell you he has a sturdy handshake and a warm demeanor. I have the privilege of meeting just about each and every presidential candidate, and have engaged in casual conversation with the past two presidents and vice presidents at receptions. I remeber Bush especially because there was a shrimp dish served by the Bonta was "delictable." Lieberman has a self image disorder and was a wreck, Howard Dean talked way too quickly to trust and had shifty eyes, John Kerry was a really nice guy, and laughed when I asked "Why should we vote for a guy who was shot 3 different times in Vietnam? Seems like a bad investment," which could have certainly just as easily pissed him off. Out of all of them, McCain was my favorite, he was soft spoken, but answered all questions directly, had a strong handshake, and very kind eyes, and just sat around shooting the shit with a bunch of us for about an hour.

Bush is a moron with no communication skills. He's only in office because Gore's communication skills are the equivalent of a pile of rocks.

That was a bash, so I don't feel bad telling you that you are an idiot. I don't think you are any judge of communication skills, considering your marketing efforts. Fact is, he's in office because no matter what you want to say, he has historically unparalelled approval by the MASS of the population. It is just that the people who don't approve of him are a bunch of loud, whiney motherfuckers. I don't agree with everything he says or does, and I think there could be a better president, but christ, don't be ignorant.

Exactly, and it gets nobody anywhere. Everybody just starts calling eachother names, because nobody can accept anyone elses ideas or wants to comprimise on their thoughts that they absorbed from pop media, left or right. Thats why I wanted to hear who some people liked. :).

Maybe I haven't shaken hands with him, but I can only go by what I see of him in public. From what I see, he's a complete moron every time he opens his mouth. I'm not judging his policies, which I won't comment on. But you don't know shit about me, my business, or my intelligence, so I don't feel bad telling you to :321GFY . I ate dinner with Dick Cheaney 4 months ago and at least he can put a proper sentence together.

I don't know.........I just think he is doing a terrible job. We have the same problem here in Canada. All the politicians are a bunch of useless monkeys. You vote out one monkey and you get his ape cousin. So you can't win.

If I had to pick.....I would say Al Gore. Yes he is a bible thumper, but I think he may have (I did say MAY have) kept the economy going the way slick Willie did. But who knows right?
