They told you not to cash any checks, as they would come back NSF and you'd most likely get charged by your bank.
Even if you deposited that check before the announcement (which I doubt since it's been so long), they're not going to give you any money. You probably won't even be able to get a hold of them.

As for your bank - good luck trying to talk them out of charging you... banks are there to make money.

Just for laughs I sent a letter to the owner with his neighbor's addresses and phone numbers, plus an overhead view of his house.

I then asked for all my rebill info, and would you think, wow, he sent it to me.

Probilling helped with the continuing of my rebills.

Just find out where the live, who their neighbors are, and possibly tell them that you will give out the numbers, and they come through.

Hey, the neighbor thing works. Back in the old days of Rent to Own before the FTC got serious (or consumers wisened up) if I had someone pissing me off, I would use a criss cross directory and have every neighbor on both sides of the block delivering messages for me.
