Tech Support Fucks who can not speak english
EVERYTIME I call Dell support over the years, I get someone whose english sucks. Deport these fuckers.
On another note, I need to buy a laptop online today, I am done with Dell. Any suggestions? I want something slim, decent screen, light, easy to type on. |

Alienware makes good ones, a little bulky though..
Try a sony vaio, they have alot of nice real slim models.. |
I believe Dell tech support is located in India. That's why they don't speak English well. No deportation necessary ...
For the laptop, check out Alien Ware (http://www.alienware.com). |
hp laptops.. their customer support doesn't speak english good either.. you have to call 3 - 4 times before you can get some one you understand.. otherwise it takes 30 minutes just to read the serial number off the back of the laptop to them :ak47:

The tech support people you talk to these days might not even be in the US at all. Often you dial a 1-800 number and the call is routed to a call center in India or some other country where they pay people $5 a day to handle calls.

How about Toshiba?

Yo quiero Taco Bell!

Here I was thinking the tech support was in Austin. Fuck Michael Dell for selling out to towel heads.
|
I have two toshiba laptops. I had to have one fixed and the support was great. They spoke English and it was shipped out, fixed, and back in 4 days total. Never any other problems and I use the hell out of both of them every day.
|
Yeah, I have had Toshibas as well, and never once had to even call tech support on them.

Honestly, when I would have a problem with a computer, or it was too slow I would pass it down to an employee and let them fuck with it. But these days I am too cheap to drop $2k and nobody here really needs a new laptop.
I just did format C and will spend my day fucking with this. If I get pissed off, I will have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. Not a fucking dell though. |
i would have to say Alienware as well. :thumbsup
|
Fucking Rag Heads, cant stand them...
Id never buy from a company who uses such trash for support. Can even understand a fucking word they say |

bradshaw,
take a look ibm.com notebooks X serries. ibm does the best notebooks (however they are more expensive than other ones..) if you need something small (under 1Kg weight) there are 2 options: sony vaio (i dont remember the exact model id , something U200 or something..) asus S200 --- patanga |
i was about sony vaio TR serries. however i like asus more.
btw if youre getting something bigger, be sure its intel centrino. |
