$100 Logo Contest - [Could lead to $1k-$2k design project.]
 

$100 LOGO DESIGN CONTEST!

(Ends Thursday August 7th @ Midnight PST!)


The Rules:

1. If your logo is selected the winner, you will be paid $100 for the design & you will be expected to turn over the PSD files, stock images or clipart used, and release all interest and copyrights on the design itself to us.

2. If using stock images or clipart, please make sure you know the source and that they are available for purchase as "Royalty-Free". Ie www.ComStock.com or royalty free clipart discs.

3. Any concept or design should be your own. Please don't copy something that already exists.

4. You may turn in as many submissions and revisions as you like up until the deadline:

The deadline is Thursday August 7th @ Midnight PST.


Suggestions:

1. The logo will be for MyNewBlinds.com, feel free to play with the capitalization however you feel looks best with your design, same with using the .com or not. However, the "my" should probably be smaller than the rest of the text.

2. Logo will be used against a WHITE or LIGHT BACKGROUND, so the logo should be designed with that in mind.

3. This will be used for a window covering shopping site used by men & women, but primarily women. If possible, It should appeal to women & feel "shoppy" without scaring men away with color scheme that's too feminine. (But I realize colors can be easily tweaked from the PSD's)

4. Since this is for a blinds/shades/window covering site, if you can somehow integrate that into the logo, that would be great.

5. If you are an artist or cartoonist, don't hold back. We are open to anything at this point and you can submit as many entries as you wish before the deadline.

(Thursday August 7th @ Midnight PST).

There will be at least one logo selected as the winner.
The winner(s) will be announced by Friday August 8th at Midnight (PST).
The winner(s) will be paid by paypal or company check (Your choice).


PLEASE NOTE:

This logo contest will be followed by an opportunity (for all designers) to bid on and be considered for a $1000-$2000 design project for the same company. Obviously if your logo was the winning entry, this will be taken into consideration when we are selecting a firm to design the entire site.

To keep peoples ideas & concepts their own.

Trying to be fair as possible here because of the potential for the bigger design project coming up.

If you came up with a really cool concept, and someone else copied it but their design skills were way better... well, you see there could be problem. :)

But if you want to post them here (in addition to emailing them) that's fine... just keep in mind your great logo idea might give someone else a similar/better idea.

Yeah... I admit is much more fun to have an 'active' contest.

Anyway the winning entry will be posted tomorrow afternoon/evening sometime after the other guys have a chance to look at the submisssions and decide.
